Biography: Gaston Leroux

Gaston Louis Alfred Leroux was born on 6th May, 1868 in Paris. He was a French journalist, detective and novelist. He went to school in Normandy and studied law in Paris, graduating in 1889. In 1890 he began working as a court reporter. His most important journalism came when he began working as a international correspondent for the Paris newspaper 'Le Matin'. In 1905 he was present at and covered the Russian Revolution.

He suddenly left journalism in 1907, and began writing fiction; in 1909, he made his own film company, Cinéromans. Leroux died in Nice on April 15, 1927 of a urinary tract infection.

On the 25 May of 1810 in the city of "Buenos Aires" the first government began.We became independent from the Spanish king.

The "Cabildo" is a historical building. It is old. It is located in front of Main Square. The cabildo was built in 1608. Manuel de Frias had an idea. He wanted to build the "Cabildo" to have an own building. The construction started in 1608 and finished in 1610.
